I'M BACK! from guides camp! :D
this will be a long post.
first i shall blog about my class gathering at east coast park on last tues.
only 13 came. let me try to recall. hahah. me, maychew, aida, xianling, annkhay, sipei, guowei, jiayong, ojy, louis, ming theong, yong ann,samuel.
a lot of them backed out at the last min.
we met at boon lay mrt station at 10. but we only left at 11 because ann khay forgot that it was that day so we waited for her. and maychew met us at jurong east mrt.
while waiting, the boys went to buy a soccer ball. and aida bought a volleyball.
and we were all laughing at louis tay because he wore jeans. "have u ever seen anyone wearing jeans to the beach?" HAHAHA.
when we readhed there, they said they want to go bowling. but me, aida and maychew didnt play. as i dont have much money. and i have to help renice and vicki buy flip flops. so we watched them. before the game, i was like "we came all the way to east coast just to bowl?" hahah. but it was fun watching them. IT WAS VERY FUNNY. most of them weren't very good at bowling actually. except ming theong whose cca is bowling. and guowei with his cannot-lose character even wanted to play 1 game with ming theong only. he was "fighting" with ann khay and sipei in the first game. but i think sipei won! hahaha. then in the second game i think, ojy had a strike. but it didnt show on the screen. so he was shouting to everyone "i strike leh! na ge shi wo strike de!" HAHAHA. he repeated for like 8 times facing each of us. IT WAS VERY VERY FUNNY! if u saw his expression, u just cant stop laughing. cos no one believes him, so he just keep repaeting to everyone until the screen show his strike. maychew even tease him, u threw 2 balls right? hahaha. they played 2 games. then at the end, jiayong went to change his scores to perfect score. all strikes! hahah.
after that, we went to have lunch at mcdonalds. i had double cheeseburger as usual. i was very hungry already.
then we went to the beach. the boys played soccer on the sand. they can like play soccer EVERYWHERE! cannot stand them. but the 6 of us went to step on water. hahaha. after that annkhay, sipei and xianling went to rent bicycles i think. and maychew, aida and i went to play volleyball. it was FUN! hahah. but cos we were not very good at it so we keep missing the ball and it keep rolling onto the ground. and maychew kept going to wash it. HAHAH. but it was still useless. as when we hit, sand still fly everywhere. hahaha. but it was just very fun. when it was 430, maychew, aida and i left as i have camp the next day. the guys were all throwing each other into the water. so they were all wet! ahahah. wonder how those who didnt bring extra clothes go home. hahaha.
its been quite a long time since i saw them. so it was a really fun and wonderful day! but too bad not everyone came. maybe next time. though i know its like impossible to have everyone to come. hahah.
ok next GUIDES CAMP! im in adrenaline subcamp and redbull patrol!
day 1reach at 730 with 2 big bags and 1 big bag of twigs! it was VERY HEAVY! need to bring alot of things like food for outdoor cooking, pvc pipes, 2 1.5 litre bottles. after briefing, we left for camp christine at lim chu kang which is a very very ulu place near the sea and johor. we could see the sea from the campsite. but most of it was blocked by trees. hahah. then was just setting up of camp site. we built HUGE tents! really BIG! and TALL! hahah. with so many guylines! and we built it OURSELVES! hahah. with the help of seniors. hahah. then built our gadgets but we were really very slow so we couldnt finish our shoerack. then halfway, xinyi and i had to go for outdoor cooking. can u imagine 2 ppl doing food preparation, turfing, fire lighting and cooking? it was very tiring. but luckily iris came to help halfway. but we didnt have time to cook the caramelised bananas. such a pity! after that was trust and courage. olivia hit her head lor. when we are suppose to play this game which one is blingfolded standing on 8 or more chairs while the rest holding a groundsheet below. so the girl has to have the courage and trust for the patrol members to fall down. so when oli fell, 1 sec 1 let go so she hit her head and was giddy the whole night. poor oli! i did the challenging one from a tree trunk that was cut off. so i had to climb up. it was scary up there trying to balance. and it was really very hard to overcome the fear to fall down though u know the others will hold onto the groungsheet tightly. but when u finally jump, it was knd of shiok! hahah. and fun. that was my favourite station. then foon yew exchange session. OH. this yr camp was very special as they are special guests! they are guides from foon yew. from malaysia! and i tink they are very nice and pro! hahaha. their games are very cute. really enjoyed it. lastly, we had COH. and ms ng was very angry as one patrol didnt wash the pot and didnt want to admit. and we performed badly that day with so many accidents. one sec 1 cut her finger with a penknife and had 2 stitches. so ms ng CANCELLED KAYAKING! sigh. but no choice. had to listen. then we slept at 1 plus.
day 2day 2 was slightly better. woke up at 5 as we wanted to finish our shoerack but ms ng told us to go sleep and built during the free time as kayaking was cancelled. so we woke up at 6 again. started with colours and PT. had no energy to run lor. 2 rounds. then had telematch and initiative games. i admired kaiyun! she studied WAGGGS! and knew almost everything! im so guilty as im a sec 2 and i didnt study or know anything. i only know 1 world centre called te cabana. hahaha. telematch was ok. but the disgusting liquid was OMG! yuck! i had to trasport it using my mouth! yucky. and michele is good at finding matbles using the spoon in the liquid when blindfolded. hahah. she was very very fast!
but then sth terrible happened! our baggage rack fell! BOO. i was so worried as we just caoulnt mallot it in anymore cos theres rocks. and we shifted and mallot and tie but still no use. i was so so stressed. shar and gaomin and anning came to help and it stood for a while but once we put out bags on it, it fell gain. so we had to give up first as theres outdoor cooking. i was in the firelighting grp. and we are very fast at fire lighting! so proud! as no seniors came to help us. hahaha. we cooked noodles. though it looked like rice and mashed up a bit, it still taste ok. just a bit burnt. hahah.so we had a hard time scrubbing the pot.
after that was song session! i LOVE song session! it was so fun and nice to sing together and do those actions! hahaha. i really like it! and the claps that foon yew taught us was nice! though abit hard to remember. then had craft! sec 2s did this doll out of a sock! IT WAS SO CUTE! :) and they said mine was nice! hahaha. and ms lye and ms ong and another guider (whats her name? so sorry. i didnt know! could someone tell me?) were doing with us. and ms lye was quite surprised to know that 11 of tenners were in 305. she was like so cool! haahah. and she asked me why i didnt go bio. hahah. that was the best night as it was relaxed and we could just be ourselves and enjoy the sessions.
COH. AGAIN! someone left a bag of ash but no one wants to admit! i really wonder who it was! as everyone said not them. so we had to sit down there and wait.... ms ng then say if until morning, no one wants to admits, zoo trip cancelled! AHH. just so sad if we keep cancelling activities.
day 3until morning, no one adnits, but ms ng said that she didnt want to waste the sec 3s efforts for planning. so we still got to go! hahah. PT was worse! 3 runs. though normallly it was ok, but during camp when we only slept 3-4 hours and had so many physically demanding activities, it was just so tiring.then we strike camp. and pack. as we are going back to sch! YAY! hahah. but before that, we went to the zoo to have our wide game. we watched an animal show! hahaha. quite nice! i like the sea lion! hahah. then went to the different stations. quite ok. hahah.
then back to sch!
the foon yew guides then went for city tour! at the esplanade!! i want to go too!! they get to go shopping! we had night treasure hunt! the seniors are so bad. the clues are so difficult! we had to sole this mystery of whether meili was murdered or committed suicide and who killed her by going to diff stations for clues. and it was so scary! i was like so scared! we could hear screams everywhere. there are a lot of ppl wearing ponchos and hair covering their faces walking very slowly and scaring us! but they scared the sec 1s more! we all screamed lor. then we saw 3 barbie dolls on the floor! so FREAKY and SICK and SCARY! OMG. and one of them was hung up with red stains on the clothes. FRIGHTENING! but after that, we managed to slove the mystery as we guessed correcly! hahaha. BINGO! then we had campfire preparation. as we had to perform.
FINALLY CAMPFIRE! i feel that we werent enthu enough and all our performances were bad! only the foon yew one was good! they thought us this funny fung fu! hahaha. really fun doing it! and a song too!
before going to sleep in the classrooms, the PLs wanted to talk to the sec 1s, trying to like "scold" them to have a better attitude as some of them are quite hopeless. sorry to say that. but only a few. like gu niang like that. hai.
day 4LAST DAY! i saw yiling and jasmine when having breakfast. so envious as they seem so relaxed. hahah. but i noe that guides camp is a training camp so we shld be disciplined. then we had prize giving. milo got the best patrol. REDBULL is in the third place if im not wrong. hahah. i think its very good already! hahah. AND.. ADRENALINE got BEST SUB CAMP! HOORAY!! hahah. so happy! and we had gift exchange btw angel and mortal! my angel was shuning! she is so nice! she wrote a letter to me during camp when everyone is so busy! she gace me this star that was made out of clay! hahah. very pretty! and my mortal was huijin! she gave me a box of very cute biscuits! i gave them a bookmark that i learnt from the art attack website! must thank eileen for telling me that website! its so cool! and i gave a paper clip too. hahah. then we bid farewell to the foon yew guides. quite sad when they left! and we may go over to their camp next yr! hahah.
after that ns ng told us abt solar outdoor cokking and outdoor oven. she was very nice. as she joked with us and we massage each other too! hahah.
FINALLY SABOTAGE! YAYY! i totally love it! it is SO FUN! we were all blindfolded the whole session! i like the toilet one best! as they splashed us water and use paint on us! then we rolled in the mud! how often do u get to roll in the mud and swim on a table full of mud? just one word! SHIOK! hahaha. then we had to fish sth out of the water. and did footdrill on mud and danced the campfire song! hahah. i heard suyi say that they video it down! OMG! hope its not true! HAHAHA. FUN FUN FUN! after the whole thing, i was so so muddy. full of mud! hahaha. then we followed ms mg to the tap near the eco pond! and she just use the hose and splashed water onto everyone! it was like raining! so nice and fun! its like everyone bathing together! hahaha. renice and vicki and me stayed till the last and ms ng gave us the tap and we washed ourselves until our clothes are quite clean already! hahaah. but i got water into my ear so it was blocked and vicki told me to shake my head. haahah.
then we had a good bath, and area cleaning. FINALLY HOME SWEET HOME! :D
i really want to thank the guiders, seniors and sec 3s for the nice camp! though it was quite tiring but all camps are like this! and my sub camp ADRENALINE! and OF COURSE REDBULL! my PL meiting and sec 1s kaiyun iris xinyi geok ting and michelle! ALL of ur were great! abnd everybody else! ((: hahah.
i will be going to genting tmr for like 3 days for a break and holiday! hahah. looking forward to it as there will be more fun again with my cousins! haahah. ((: had to go sleep now! need to wake up at 6 tmr.
