yesterday, i went to jp with yiling, renice and quekie to buy SOMEBODY'S present. hahah.
and as usual, yiling and i were early. hahah. and there was like serious miscommunication btw yiling and quekie. yiling was asking whether quekie bought the css mag for us and she said NONONO i bought 4. actually it was a joke and yiling heard that she only bought one so yiling and i went to buy 2 more. HAHAHAH. so now we have 2 extra. luckily quekie managed to sell them away. hahah.

so we had lunch first KFC. and quekie took SO long to decide what to eat. hhahah. :P
then we shopped around. went to popular and alot of other places. and finally chosen what to buy. hahah. :D i think its very nice!

BUT, it wasnt my lucky day after that. when i was home, my little cousin went to take the bottle from my bag to drink and he didnt cap the bottle properly THEN he put it back into my bag. so when i was abt to go for dinner, i realised that my bag was soaked and my phone inside was wet too! since then, my hp went crazy. :(

but luckily, this morning its quite ok. hope it remain like that. and not go crazy again. hahah.

ok shall go do my la research documentation now!

hahah. guess the feeling will go away soon. obs aftermath. hahah.

its gonna be a long recount.

DAY 1
reached obs. got into a watch called MARCO POLO! and 305 can be considered very lucky already! as we were only separated into 2 watches. the first half of the class until eileen lim were in cook! and we were buddy watches! hahah.
our instructor is BIBIANA! and we all called her bibi. she loves saying WELL DONE! hahahah. the coolest thing abt her is that she has 12 ear holes! 8 on 1 ear and 4 on one ear! hahah. then, i only know that shes from cedar and shes 24 this yr. hahah. and she's SINGLE! HAHAHAH.
and we were assigned roles. and i was the store ic! hahah. but i made some mistakes like leaving the door open with nobody inside! and didnt know wheres the key..
then was KAYAKING! renice was my partner! KAYAKING was FUN! but i think we arent very good at kayaking. hahah. because our kayak kept going the opp way. hahaha. we practised on land first in the rain. then we went into the water! ((: and we tried capsizing. hahah. it was quite irritating as my nose felt very uncomfortable. then later when we were further away from the shore, renice and i were chosen to be ones needed to be rescued. so we capsized again. and due to our blurness, we didnt really know what to do and the kayak kept drifting towards the jetty. so the instructors have to come save us. but still good job jiahui and zhouang! who were supposed to save us! hahah.
but i really hate carrying the kayak. they were SO heavy.
pitch our tents, bathe and cook! ok, actually i didnt cook. cos i was helping to pitch the tents. WEE is very pro in cooking rice! hahah. we had a nice dinner.
then we met bibi to learn abt first aid stuff. abrasion, wild boar and hornets attacks! hahah.
next was fire drill. and we packed our bags for trekking the next day! finally SLEEP! but renice and stella kept talking. while xinxi and i just slept. hahah. only us can tolerate their talking. hahaha.

DAY 2
morning circle.
we tried trust fall! i like that one! hahah.
then we tried a bit of belaying.
after that we trekked for around half an hour with our HEAVY bags to reach the beautiful camp one! we had very good food there! so nice! hahah. and we met chaiping, lifern and liwen. they kept asking us what we did. and chaiping kept saying how nice camp 1 is. hahah. and we knew abt the legandary obs dog! let me tell you the story! BABY (the name of the obs dog) was actually found in obs many years ago. and i think some ppl send them back to singapore mainland. BUT it SWAM all the way back to obs and lie on the huge obs crest! so cool right! hahah. :D
tent pitching.
tripod! i was the second last to climb so for the whole time before that i was the one below belaying and stuff at the last part. the shapes one! hahah. so i saw alot of ppl climb. and i kept shouting JIAYOU! TOWARDS YOUR LEFT! hahahah. but when it was my turn, i was kinda scared! hahah. so loser. and i was shaking up there though i know exactly what to do. TOWARDS YOUR LEFT! hahah. but was quite fun afterall. MARCO POLO CO POLO CO POLO! :D
bathe, dinner.
then we did some navigation by the swimming pool. hahahah. and we chat. thats when we saw some instructor kayaking in the pool. and we were all laughing as he capsized and turned back up again! hahah. and bibi saw renice drooling. HAHAHAH. :P
and we did pacing. and back to our tents to sleep. there was alot of rocks so we didnt really sleep very well. and i think thats when we heard alot of storiesd from stella and xinxi. HAHAHAH.

DAY 3
breakfast. quite an unlucky start as we lost the key to the locker of the cook house. and we had to pay. as we couldnt find them.
but we tried not to think abt it as we are going to trek from camp 1 to the other end of ubin: mamam beach (i dont really know how to spell) with our heavy bags by 4.30. we were fast! thanks to bibi's hints! but we really spent some time looking for the check points. as we plot the pts wrongly. but we didnt rest alot. bibi said we were very fast when walking! hahah. THANKS to reniceloh! the fun ic! hahah. we kept singing songs (though theres only these few songs). hahaha. esp ai mei! and yanqi is rainie! hahahah. and we played games like wen zi jie long. and tell LAME jokes! i like the one on renice and the pink cloud one! HAHAH. and at 2.55, we were already very very near to mamam. and bibi ask us whether we want to try another route to find that check pt 7. at first we said we dont want as we want to reach there earlier. but later we decided to take up the challenge! YEAH! and we went up the steep slope and go all the way in. but we were once again blocked by the trees that was all over the place. there were alot of old houses around too. and i heard some sounds coming from there. so spooky. and bibi was quite scared too so we gave up and went all the way back! and YES! we reached mamam!
mamam beach is so pretty. the sea and sky! we kept ugging bibi to tell us whos her husband as she told us that we will tell us the truth if we reached on time. but she said that we didnt reach at 430 but earlier! she cheated our feelings! hahaha. so everyone started bombarding her with qns. and FINALLY.. she said....... she NOT married! hahahah. ok i kinda guessed it as shes only 24 this yr. hahaha. then, we pitched our tents. LUTHENG found our vertical! hahah. THANKS SO MUCH! :DD then bibi had to go back to spore so we were on our own with selamat! we cooked with cook! HAHAHHA. and we shared their milo. and played murderer under the stars! so nice right? there were so many stars!
the only thing bad abt mamam was the toilet. its omg. hahah. shant talk abt it.
we slept early at ard nine as we had to do duty at 3 am to 3.30 am. hahah. it was quite tiring but still ok. we sat on the beach and just look at the sky. hahah. we saw stars, planes, moon. hahah. nice!

DAY 4
we woke up quite early as we need to set off early. we very luckily found all our pegs! though some of them were ancient ones. hahaha. and off we go to the quarry! we had to reach there by eleven. we saw 2 wild boars on the way, 1 that was reared. and 1 that ran across the road as it hear us coming. hahahha. we were very fast again! we reached there in 1hr plus. hahah. so we ate there. and had our morning circle. and we built our raft! hahaha. sorry if i seem quite impatient when buliding cos i was quite stressed. no time no time. hahah. and finally it was done! but the worst thing was we had to compete with cook. but we didnt really care. we just wanted to have fun! hahah. our presentation was totally COOL! our raft is called THE bibi. hahaha. the song is very nice! and bibi loved it! THANKS to minx and renice who thought of that!
and we launched our rafts! and it floated! though it was not very stable. and we won the race! hahaha. it was very fun jumping into the quarry! the water is very clean and clear and nice! after that we had a little "bath" in the water. playing around. and we were very sweet to sing a little song to yanqi and jasmine who couldnt join us in the waters. they must be very touched! HAHAHHA. we played zhong ji mi ma. and renice was tricked by bibi. HAHAHAH. so funny. she got splashed by bibi's "mouthful" of water. hahah. and renice, dont be sad lah. dont care abt what others do to you or say to you! :D
and in the first time of my life, i changed in the wild under a poncho! hahah. it not easy ok. hahahah. and we walked back to camp 2. we were all very tired! so we were walking slowly. and no matter how bibi cheered us on, we didnt sing or cheer. hahah. i guess we were all exhausted.
but when we finally reached camp 2, we cheered our cute little cheer! hahaha. marco polo co polo co polo!
we pitched our tents. and bathe. CHEER UP QUEKIE TOO! SMILE! :DD
and we invited bibi over for dinner. we sang her birthday song and the bibi song! hahaha. and we said alot of riddles and jokes which bibi couldnt understand at all. hahah. and she cooked some maggie mee. so we were just playing around. thats how we get our 4 hr dinner! hahah.
after that we cleared our store. because we were so efficient! we finished almost all the things in less than an hour! hahahah.

DAY 5
last day.. we cleared our store. and we didnt lost anything!
then we had a long chat with bibi. started with morning circle. bibi nearly cried when she told us to write our last journal and ask if we want to keep it. we told her to keep it. ((:
and our key was found too! THANKS to instructor cindy! she found it! so we dont need to pay anything! hahah. renice's intuition so accurate huh. and bibi kept praising us! yeah! we got our certs. i got it from minx. and she jumped onto me lah! hahaha. and we talked abt commitments. thats when ppl started crying. cheer up ppl! its not late realising it now actually!
then we went shopping. i bought a black tshirt! hahah.
but it is really quite sad to know that we are leaving obs. we kept shouting byebye to bibi when we were on the boat.

i really learnt alot in these 5 days. and guiding skills helped me quite alot too. obs made me knew more abt 305. esp how jiahui really is! HAHAHAH. and how zhiying still trust her! hahahah. and how yng tyng loves to slap ppl's butt. and how you ppl rock! :D great time for us to bond!

so im very proud to say that im a TENNER and a FIVER!
to know such wonderful classmates in my four years of ny!

I MUST update before i go for obs!
i feel like and at the same time, not feel like going to obs.
but i think it will be FUN! :D
as its abt self discovery! so they wont really force you to do things that you dont want to.
and i managed to squeeze everything in 1 bag! hahah.

yesterday, i went to causeway pt with yiling, quekie and renice to buy some obs stuff.
a nike cap, powder, twine, mosquito repellent and INCREDIBLES!
HAHAHAHAH. who came up with that anyway?

then i went to clementi mrt to meet up with some of the guides. renice was not suppose to go. so i had to go alone after changing into my guides u at cwp. so after we met up with ms teng and the rest, we took a bus to acsi. i didnt know ms teng was so funny! shes also like a teenager. hahah. on the bus, we were looking at binny's black gown. WHOA! hahaha. from daniel yam. and binny said that hes damien yam's cousin! ok, i dont know if thats real anot. but she said REALLY! hahaha. i hope shes not kidding. HAHAHAH. hmmm. COUSIN? :P

oh. and we went acsi for the acsi GANGSHOW!

i really enjoyed it. it was very FUN!
it wasnt a campfire, so we were in the audi watching their gangshow!
they were super FUNNY and LAME.
the theme was KUNGFU BUSTLE!
the audience was splited into 2 grps: CHIN CHOW GANG and TAU HUAY GANG!
i belonged to the later. everyone was very enthu!
then there was 2 characters ali and stephen.
so they were the main lead for the skit.
and they were 2 other guys who were in the tau huay gang. and they kept saying WE ARE THE... TAU HUAY GANG! and did the jumping action! i was very amused by that. hahahah.
so in between, there were games which included the audience. in the end it was a draw. the games are quite naughty and funny. hahahah.
and there were performances by other school as well. like dances and songs.
but i still like the WE ARE THE... TAU HUAY GANG!
