ODYSSESY OF THE MIND SINGAPORE 2006! :D

last fri, we went to sch for the last om chiong-ing.
fixed the props and costumes. practise LT again and again.
ms teo came. watched the other team's performance. cool. i love their costumes! hahah. :D

then we went to have dinner.
it was very nice!
must really THANK eileen's parents! ((:
it was very funny when everyone was like wondering what is that lump of thing on that chicken dish. in the end, some of them tried and it turned out to be some kind of "sauce" you can dip into. hahahah. :D

and off we go to eileen's house.
made our own sandals! print out and made the TUT'S TIMES!
bathe.
and we watched mummy 2 whike eating ice-cream!
hahah. quite a nice movie though i think i fell alseep st some parts.
i like that little boy. he's so cute! hahaha. :D
and in the middle of the night when everyone was falling asleep, suddenly.
someone's phone rang. everyone went walao immediately. hahaha. :P

woke up quite early the next morning.
bathe. and quekie was telling me what happened last night and yujie! hahaha. ok. shall not tease her anymore. :P
and we did our make up after changing into our costumes.
renice couldnt help me with the eyeliner so i did it myself. hahaha. ok lah. not bad. :)
had breakfast. and off we go to sch!
must thank eileen's parents again for sending us to and fro. :D

we moved our props. though it was little, i feel that it is the quality that counts. don't you agree? hahah. :D and i think that the uncle is very funny and nice. on the way there, i was quite nervous. :/

performance time! though it wasnt our best performance, but overall it was still great! can sense that quekie and yujie were quite nervous. hahaha. but GOOD JOB EVERYONE! :D and i think acsi is really good. their props are like woah. the other teams that we watched was not bad too. so i wasn't hoping for anything. just to have fun. (though actually i really want something back. hahah. ok very contradicting i know. but u will just have the feeling that u wont win after comparing the performances so no point having high hopes. :D)

we went to have lunch. the food there was nice! chaiping had to go for her competition so we wished her gd luck and jiayou. i think its really tough man. 2 compeititions on the same day. big ones somemore. if its me huh, i'll not be able to take it. hahaha. :D so chaiping's very strong huh! hahaha. ok shall not boost her ego. :P

and so we ran around the school to watch the performances and cheer nanyang on. hahahah. i think its very hilarious. we had a schedule somemore. hahha. :D but i realised alot og guys loves to act as girls. im perfectly fine with that. just that can they not do actions to insult us? i felt quite uncomfortable. and when watchong jungle bloke, quekie and i were like complaining abt how unfair this compeitition is. i had a gd time. hahah. let out all the anger.

prize giving. chaiping came in time. i was really ecstatic, ok i think everyone is! because nanyang got alot of awards. :D we were all screaming and cheering like mad. hahah. esp quekie. i cannot stand it too. hahah. :p

"long-term problem 3 division 3 3rd runner up... NANYANG GIRLS' HIGH!" i believe im not the only one in shock. surprised, happy and touched at the same time. as you hold the trophy in your hand, u will feel that everything was worth it. though people may say that it's only the fourth prize, but i think its the recognition that made me really satisfied. at least people could see our effort and hard work put in.

YAY! TODAY IS A HAPPY DAY! :D

my parents FINALLY allow me to go to the regional cip (india) for end of year programme!
i took 2 days to persuade them and reassure them that i will be fine over there.
hahah. though they a bit not very willing, they still agreed! :D
i think they are just very worried for me.
because i am the only daughter! very precious. hahahahah. no lah. just being ego! :P
i wanted to go to india as i feel that it will be a very wonderful experience and challenge for me, and an eye opener too! to look at the world in another way, not every country is like singapore, clean, comfortable and peaceful... i believe it will really be very enriching and meaningful! :)
though i may not get in, but at least my parents allowed me to put it as noe of the choices! YAY! <3

shall blog abt the la talk today in my la blog another time! pretty interesting..

i realised that i like to eat whenever i feel stressed.
hahaha.
especially when i'm doing homework and SIAs on a weekend,
when things get piled up like a mountain.
hahaha. but that doesn't really matter since i like to eat anyway! :D
(though my weight will start increasing!) hahahha.
ok. so i must exercise. last time i used to hate running and pt, but now i think it is quite ok because it helps you get rid of all the fats and stuff. then, you won't feel so bad when running. hahah. at least it works for me who hates running. x)
yeah, so must get the mentality right!

speaking of pt, my muscles are aching (especially the stomach area) due to fri's pt. i can't cough or laugh now. if not it will be very painful. hahah. also, i hurt my hip bone somehow though i have absolutely no idea how i hurt it. thus on fri, i was limping home and limping to tuition. hahah. so awkward! and my daddy was laughing at me! he was saying that it is because i seldom exercise so im feeling pain all over. though i admit that it is true to ONLY A CERTAIN EXTENT, it is not 100% true! because we have PE every week and guides every week too. yeah. :D

and i don't know since when i prefer doing homework at night.
in pri school, i slept at 10. (ok, im very guai! hahah. :P)
in sec 1, i slept at around 1030
in sec 2, i slept at 11.
in beginning of sec 3, i slept at 1130.
and NOW i sleep at 12!!!
U SEE! this is what nanyang did to me. hahahah.
more and more things to do.
and more and more things get tougher.
i guess i will just have to learn to cope.
no point complaining.
but sometimes looking back at the past really gives you the motivation to move on. i know it sounds kinda contradicting. but i think it's true.
life is about dreaming, and turning dreams into reality!

oh oh. and im looking forward to the end of year programme though i cannot make up my mind on where to go. but doesnt matter! because i know anywhere will be as fun!

now i really dont care who wins! hahaha. :D

because it didnt say that the winner will get a contract.
so as long as geraldine can continue to sing, then ok le!
